The Kirra 6'6" (2 Metre) Bondi Race Trainer is a durable junior surf training board designed to help young paddlers develop strength, confidence and essential surf skills. Developed in conjunction with a local surf club, the Race Trainer combines a stable, safety-conscious design with the performance characteristics needed for progressing junior athletes.
The board is heat bonded and compression moulded under a 20-tonne press, producing a strong, durable construction suited to regular training in demanding Australian conditions. Advanced moulding creates progressive rails and an improved rocker, helping young paddlers develop their technique and improve performance as their skills progress.
An HDX high-buoyancy support system provides excellent stability while still allowing responsive turning and wave catching. The large single fin further enhances control and stability, making the Bondi Race Trainer an excellent platform for developing junior paddle and surf skills.
The board is SLSA Approved and backed by a lifetime warranty, providing added confidence for clubs, families and developing junior paddlers.
